In the frame work of the Blue Deal Project, the Business Forum was held in Valencia on March 23, 24 and 25, with the participation of project partners and representatives of energy sector companies. The National Agency of Natural Resources, as a partner of the Blue Energy Project, was represented by Mr. Adrian Bylyku, Executive Director and Mr. Artan Leskoviku, Director of Renewable Energy.
The Valencia Business Forum aimed to transmit the necessary BLUE DEAL information and infrastructure to private stakeholders, to foster their interactions and to establish concrete partnerships for the implementation of EU projects.
During the event, energy companies and organizations involved in the chain- value of blue energy economy took the opportunity to meet through online platforms and to present their projects on the use of wave energy.
During the first day, there were introduced; the Blue Deal Transfer Protocol, the status of the blue economy and also there were discussions on the role of marine renewable energy at the local, national and international levels. Some companies had the opportunity to share their best practice examples with attendees and to show how they can fund their blue energy projects.
The second day, it was dedicated to innovative companies that have participated in the open Innovation challenge and presented their proposals. In the afternoon, a session was held with investors who had presented the best projects for the use of marine energy.
The third day, it was dedicated to the presentation of the Regional Alliance, the Joint Plan for the use of marine energy There was clearly presented how at site compliance is tested using virtual reality and some Environmental Assessment guidelines.
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity for meetings between companies where they could interact via the virtual instrument created by the project, to visualize how the facility would appear at site after the implementation of renewable energy project in coastal areas.
