Zagreb, Croatia – 15-17 May 2025 – The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) officially represented the Republic of Albania at the most recent Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Conference, held in Zagreb, Croatia.
The high-level regional forum brought together key stakeholders from the energy sector across Central and Eastern Europe, with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation, promoting the exchange of best practices, and fostering the development of joint initiatives in the field of energy and natural resources.
As a full-fledged member of the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) initiative, the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) played an active role in discussions focused on the challenges and prospects within the hydrocarbons sector. During the forum, AKBN presented Albania’s progress in the promotion of energy resources and its ongoing efforts to attract foreign direct investment, underscoring the country’s strategic vision and commitment to fostering a sustainable and competitive energy market.
