The U.S. Department of State and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP launch the second program of technical assistance for the hydrocarbon sector at AKBN

The U.S. State Department and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP launched the second phase of the AKBN hydrocarbon technical assistance program. This program, funded by the US Department of State, Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR), is designed to support AKBN by strengthening its technical and professional capacity in the hydrocarbon sector.

This phase of the program will continue into 2020, and focusing mainly on:

-Processing and interpreting data and analysis of the economic factors of the Blocks;

– Data analysis and application of best practices in oil and gas exploration and production operations;

– Organization of competitive licensing rounds for free Blocks.

At the meeting held on the occasion of the presentation of this program, AKBN Executive Director, Mr. Adrian Bylyku thanked the representative of the Bureau of Energy Resources , Mr. Evan McGlaughlin and the representative of Deloitte Company, Mr. Wayne Smith, Project Team Leader , present at the meeting, and all the experts for the valuable contribution they continue to provide to AKBN’ staff directly impacting on enhancing the performance of this institution. In his final speech, Mr. Bylyku encouraged AKBN’s staff to do their utmost to seize this extraordinary opportunity that will serve their professional perspective, AKBN, as well as the institutions of the Albanian Governemnet  in general.
