The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN), in collaboration with EITI Albania, held a presentation roundtable aimed at strengthening the capacities of representatives from public institutions, private companies, and civil society organizations in reporting according to the requirements of the EITI 2023 Standard.

During the event, participants engaged in practical and interactive sessions designed to deepen their understanding of key topics, including: environmental issues and their impact on the extractive sector, gender equality in the natural resources industry, data quality assurance and verification, payment reporting by companies and public institutions, and beneficial ownership of companies operating in the extractive sector.

The roundtable brought together directors of technical departments and experts from AKBN, who had the opportunity to exchange experiences and engage directly with representatives of EITI Albania, reinforcing the institutional approach to transparency and good governance in the natural resources sector.

AKBN views its partnership with EITI Albania as a strategic cornerstone in advancing reporting practices and reinforcing the credibility of institutional governance.
