AKBN and the Kosova Chamber of Mines meet to strengthen cooperation and promote the mining sector

The latest collaboration between the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) and the Kosovo Chamber of Mines marks the first steps toward building a more integrated and competitive mining landscape for Albania and Kosovo in the international arena.

AKBN welcomed the delegation of the Kosovo Chamber of Mines, led by its Executive Director, Mr. Mentor Demi, at its headquarters in the framework of a working meeting focused on advancing the mining sector between the two countries.

During this meeting, AKBN’s Executive Director, Mr. Genci Tërpo, emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination of joint activities between the two parties, with the aim of supporting investors and increasing activity in this sector.

Both sides shared a common vision for promoting the mining potential of Albania and Kosovo, particularly through participation in international events such as PDAC (Canada), Resourcing Tomorrow (United Kingdom), and the Future Minerals Forum (Saudi Arabia).
