AKBN Promotes Environmental Awareness through an Educational Activity with “Vasil Shanto” School Students

The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) organized an educational and awareness-raising activity with lower secondary school students from “Vasil Shanto” School, on the occasion of the International Day of Environmental Education, and in the framework of raising awareness on nature protection.

The students were welcomed by the Executive Director of AKBN, Mr. Genci Tërpo, who underlined the Agency’s crucial role in the sustainable management of natural resources and the importance of engaging the younger generation in environmental issues.

The activity continued with a presentation on environmental protection and pollution, followed by an interactive session. Divided into groups, the students completed questionnaires and conveyed awareness messages on the importance of protecting the environment.

At the conclusion of the activity, AKBN awarded certificates of appreciation to the participating seventh-grade students of “Vasil Shanto” School, as a token of gratitude for their cooperation and commitment.

AKBN attaches particular importance to organizing activities of this nature, aiming to educate the younger generation so that they grow up actively involved in initiatives that safeguard the environment and promote the sustainable use of natural resources—an essential global mission in the service of humanity.
