AKBN strengthens dialogue with solar investors for more transparency and cooperation

The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) hosted a roundtable with photovoltaic investors and companies at its headquarters, aimed at enhancing dialogue, transparency, and collaboration with businesses operating in the renewable energy sector.

The meeting brought together AKBN leadership, including Executive Director Mr. Genci Tërpo, Head of Cabinet Ms. Inesa Gupe, Technical Division Director Mr. Ilia Bili, Head of the Verification and Certification of Investments Sector Ms. Teuta Thimjo, specialists from the Monitoring Sector, along with representatives of leading solar energy investors in Albania.

During the discussions, company representatives called for stronger institutional support from AKBN to streamline processes related to the allocation of territories for wind park development, underscoring the sector’s strong growth potential.

Participants praised AKBN’s cooperation and emphasized the importance of continued institutional backing to address challenges during project implementation.

In closing remarks, Executive Director Mr. Genci Tërpo thanked attendees for their collaboration and reaffirmed AKBN’s role as a reliable partner, committed to addressing any issues or obstacles investors may face.
