“CEEC Scout Meeting” – AKBN takes part in the Regional Energy Forum

The CEEC Scout Meeting (Continental Europe Energy Committee) brought together representatives from energy agencies and companies across Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on strengthening regional cooperation, exchanging best practices, and developing joint initiatives for the advancement of the energy sector.

The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) participated as a full member of CEEC, representing Albania with a delegation composed of Executive Director Mr. Genci Tërpo, Head of Cabinet Ms. Inesa Gupe, and Director of the Hydrocarbons Directorate Mr. Eldorado Kice.

The Albanian delegation actively contributed to discussions on current challenges in the hydrocarbons sector in Albania and the wider region. The meeting in Athens marked an important milestone in enhancing Albania’s influence within the CEEC network. During plenary sessions and working groups, AKBN representatives held significant meetings with international companies, presenting Albania’s potential in the hydrocarbons sector as well as the country’s broader energy resources.

AKBN’s participation in this forum not only reinforces its commitment to the energy sector in general and hydrocarbons in particular, but also highlights its increasingly active role in initiatives for the exploration and production of Albania’s natural resources.
