At the end of the two-day training held at the premises of the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) in the frame of the program of the technical assistance in the hydrocarbon sector, which is supported by Deloitte and financed by the US State Department, the Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR), was held the ceremony of the successful conclusion of the training and the distribution of the training certificates to the participants.

 The Executive Director of AKBN, Mr. Bylyku, who was present in the ceremony, thanked Deloitte for the provided expertise on increasing the human resources capacities of the institution he heads. In his speech among others he said: “… The topics covered in this training on models of the production sharing contracts, the elements of audit, the legal and technical aspects are fundamental in the work of AKBN’s staff. The support will continue with other topics provided in the project for the technical assistance and step by step its experts will reach a higher level of professional skills in the hydrocarbon sector.”

The program of the technical assistance will proceed according to the foreseen calendar in the frame of the implementation of the main objectives: (i) Upstream Oil and Gas Tender Support; (ii) Hydrocarbon Sector Technical Oversight; and (iii) Technical Training.
